Hey, just giving you an update here. I bought this on March 15th, 2019. But it’s a bummer cause I had to remove it on April 22nd, 2019, due to rusting. I’m a bit surprised because my truck is always in the garage and only gets out on weekends.Anyway, here’s my initial review below.I think it’s fantastic for 2.5″ receivers. I’m a big fan of the cutter pin. All I have to do is slide, twist, and it locks up nice and tight. Just like it should.

I mean, it’s alright as a pin, but the finish is pretty bad. I’ve only had it for about a month and it’s already rusting. I’ve got two of these – one which I use with my hitch that I keep in the door and it’s been just fine. But this other one I got to secure the hitch cover, and I can’t believe it’s rusting so bad – even the tip of the handle that doesn’t rub on anything!

The design of the cotter pin is pretty smart, it won’t fall out even if it gets a bit worn out.
Very good pins
