The adjustable height’s great, but it’s a bit too loose in the receiver. It makes whatever trailer I’m pulling wobble around too much. I had to get a “U” bolt to lock the hitch and ball in place. But now, the receiver’s all scratched up from the “U” bolt. Bummer!
This thing seems solid and just as good as other hitch makers I’ve seen. The description doesn’t say it straight out, but this doesn’t come with the locking pin for your receiver, FYI. They expect you to buy the recommended one on your own. I reckon it would be way better if this was a complete package since now I must hustle to find a locking pin for this thing within two days before my trip.
