Oct 4 2023 while moving a 24ft box trailer from VT to FL, had a tire separation and my brake controller was working intermittently. So I stayed overnight in Chambersburg. Through a Google search I called the first shop that opened at 7AM, they referred me to Brechbill Trailer. I just drove over and waited for them to open. The Service Mgr pulled in after us and before entering the building approach me to find out how he could help. I explained I needed 4 new tires and have my controller checked out. He said no problem and had to go in and meet with his team, please give him 15 min. Well it was a short 15 min and the bay doors opened and a technician came out and pulled the trailer in. 1 hour later, with new Tires, controller and 7 pin connector I was on the road. All testing was explained during the process and I never felt like I was in the wrong place.. if you are within 50 miles, make the drive. It will be well worth the trip.
Well, that’s about it. You should totally check it out.
Great product
I’m really digging this hitch – it’s super versatile and tough as nails. But you know what would’ve made it even better? If they’d thrown in a locking pin for the balls. It’s not even the same size as the one for the hitch. I ended up buying a random set of locks, thinking the ball pins were a standard size. And really, I don’t want to stress about it, but stuff gets stolen. Plus, it seems like it’d be pretty hard – maybe even impossible – to replace the ball part if it ever did get swiped.
Got the hitch and it was all boxed up. But guess what? The original box was totally trashed! The hitch came, but the two pins that attach the double ball to the hitch were missing. Pretty useless without them, huh?
I’ve been using this product for a while now and towed a few different trailers with it. It’s really well-built stuff. It doesn’t even sweat pulling my 7 ton trailer packed with a 9K tractor and some attachments. No problems at all!
