The Fastway Universal Coupler Lock keeps your trailer secure. It is a solid coupler lock, made from the highest corrosion resistant material and fits virtually every coupler style. In fact, after years of testing, we haven’t found a coupler it doesn’t fit. The lock has a hinged cover, protecting it from dirt, debris, rust, water, and ice. With its thick housing, incredible strength, and a lock that’s almost impossible to pick, you can be confident your trailer is safe.

I couldn’t quite get this to fit properly on the receiver of my Little Guy Max trailer, so I sent it back. I then watched a video with a sawzall ripping through a similar model, which kind of turned me off â€“ it also seems to be rebranded under different names. Honestly, no thanks â€“ even if it’s just for deterring thieves visually.

I finally picked up a lock from Proven Industries. It’s a good fit and it definitely looks like it would deter any unwanted attention. It’s a bit finnicky and costs more, yep. Also, word of advice: don’t drop it on your foot. Man, that hurt.

We use this for our boat trailer along with a tongue and wheel lock, so I’m not too stressed about it being our only protection. It’s super heavy and fits perfectly on our trailer. Plus, no one has messed around with it so far.
