My friend and driver always bragged on how great Brechbill Trailer Sales was, how great the prices, personal customer service was. I run a fleet of Hotshot Trucks and Gooseneck Trailers, and I am the creator and admin of Hotshot-USA Resource network, www.Hotshot-USA.com. I manage a large network for our industry. Recently I was in a bind. I had converted my elec Drum Brakes to Elec over Hydraulic disk. After a couple years I needed rotors, pads, and they were manufactured by DeeMax components. My trailer guys were unable and back ordered on parts, my trailer repair couldn't find them. I called and looked furiously for them . When I did finally find them, they were $300 more than Brechbill. I remembered that my driver had mentioned that I give them a call. I did, talked to Justin and others there, Great service, They found, quoted and overnighted my parts straight to my shop. I was so impressed with them that I am adding them to my Hotshot Connections and told my friends in the business to contact them for all their parts. When I find a business like this that can help my trailers and my members, I get excited. I look forward to a long relationship with them. I honestly believe that you can not find a better source for all your trailer needs. Don't get jacked by high mark ups on parts. Just because we are in need, no need to take advantage of us, Buy with confidence. 100% REAL TALK!
I wouldn’t want even my worst enemy to deal with this hitch. It’s built solid, but it just doesn’t work right. The ball got stuck on my trailer and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get it off. I even tried lifting the back end of my truck with the trailer’s 3rd wheel, and it still wouldn’t let go. I ended up having to unscrew the ball nut and try again, and finally the ball threads came out of the hitch plate. And it didn’t seem to make the jolts any less strong. With my boat and trailer weighing in at about 5000lbs, the tongue weight shouldn’t have maxed out at 700lbs, but it looked like the shocks were totally flattened. Gonna have to take this one back.
We take the boat on trips a few hundred miles out every year. This year, I tossed on this hitch and man, the ride was way smoother and quieter. Super stoked about this buy!
Definitely worth every penny spent!!
Just tried out this hitch for the first time with a loaded trailer. About a total weight of 5300 lbs, and roughly 600 on the tongue. I could see the trailer swaying but didn’t really feel it on the truck. It does what it says on the box and made towing a breeze. Solid 5 stars from me.
Honestly, I’m pretty stoked about this. I’ve got a Ram 1500 and I use it to pull a 4000 lb boat. It pretty much cuts out 75% – 90% of the bouncing from the boat trailer. Give it a shot, I think you’ll love it. Just remember, it doesn’t come with a ball – you’ll need to get your own.
