Oct 4 2023 while moving a 24ft box trailer from VT to FL, had a tire separation and my brake controller was working intermittently. So I stayed overnight in Chambersburg. Through a Google search I called the first shop that opened at 7AM, they referred me to Brechbill Trailer. I just drove over and waited for them to open. The Service Mgr pulled in after us and before entering the building approach me to find out how he could help. I explained I needed 4 new tires and have my controller checked out. He said no problem and had to go in and meet with his team, please give him 15 min. Well it was a short 15 min and the bay doors opened and a technician came out and pulled the trailer in. 1 hour later, with new Tires, controller and 7 pin connector I was on the road. All testing was explained during the process and I never felt like I was in the wrong place.. if you are within 50 miles, make the drive. It will be well worth the trip.
I’m popping this bike rack on my 2012 Ford Focus SE Hatch. Yup, it added about a foot and a half to my ride’s length, but hey, it’s functional and looks pretty snazzy. Five stars!
Hey there! So, I’m a 55-year-old woman and I was kinda worried about how I’d manage to lug a bike mount and fix it to my car’s hitch. To my surprise, this bike carrier is really easy to use. It just slides right into my hitch and I’ve also got a lock pin to keep it secure. I’ve got no issues lifting my bike onto the mount and the Velcro straps keep it nice and secure. When I’m not using it, I just pop the carrier in the trunk of my car. Gotta say, this was such a fantastic buy!
It gets the job done but it’s a bit shakier than I expected. But hey, it still works.
When I was thinking about buying some bike racks, I couldn’t believe how pricey some of them were. I did my homework and read the reviews on a bunch of them before I chose this one. I drive a Pontiac Solstice and because of how my truck hatch opens, I needed a rack that sat away from my car. This one fit the bill and didn’t break the bank. It was a piece of cake to put together (my husband had it up in no time and didn’t even grumble) and it’s been great so far. It’s solid as a rock. At first, I was worried about how my bike would stay put on the rack with just a couple of small Velcro straps, but it totally does! I’ve even taken my car on road trips with my bike on the rack and I’m blown away by how secure it is! The rack is a cinch to put on and take off my car. Plus, it folds up so it’s not taking up a ton of space when I’m not using it. I’d totally recommend this rack – it’s way cheaper than other bike racks and gets the job done.
So, I was beat and left my bike on this rack overnight. Guess what? Some sneaky folks nicked my wheels and tires – just because there’s a spot on the rack where you can lock up your bike. Phew, at least they didn’t snatch my whole bike. Hey, the company could really do with having a pic of the top of the rack, you know? All in all, killer product though!
