A truck bed is a flatbed attached behind the cab to the frame of a truck where a pickup bed would normally be. Some flatbeds have multiple purposes, like the EBY truck bed, which has an opening in the center where you can also attach a gooseneck trailer.
What Is a Truck Body?
Truck bodies also attach to the chassis of the truck and are made for tasks such as dumping, towing, or product delivery and storage. Also, truck bodies can come with toolboxes on the sides for service vehicles, or fully closed in boxes like a van body to keep things dry or cold.
