Product Description

Multi-Mount Gear Box Dual Speed – Fast. Powerful. Ready for Work.

Stop cranking. The Multi-Mount Dual Speed Gearbox turns your cordless drill into a trailer jack that does the work for you. Run the landing gear down to the ground and back up in 3:1 high speed, then switch to 11:1 low speed to do the lifting — empty or loaded. Machined from billet aluminum, backed by a 5-year warranty, and built in the USA.

A straightforward alternative to electric or hydraulic jacks—at a significantly lower cost, with no wiring, no plumbing, and nothing to fail.

IMPORTANT – USE A STANDARD DRILL ONLY: Do not operate this gearbox with an impact driver, and do not use the hammer setting on a hammer drill. Impact forces damage the gear train and will void your warranty.

Key Features:

  • Cordless Drill Operated – Fast, effortless landing gear operation
  • 11:1 / 3:1 Gear Reduction – Low speed lifts the trailer, high speed runs the landing gear up and down quickly
  • 8,000 lb. Tongue Weight Capacity – Lifts fully loaded trailers with control
  • Billet Aluminum Construction – Built tough for demanding use
  • Universal Mounting System – Fits standard 4″ square jacks with a 1″ input shaft
  • Quick Attach/Detach – One unit serves multiple trailers or fleets
  • Fleet-Friendly – Carry one gearbox, use it across your whole fleet
  • Use a Standard Drill Only – Do not use an impact driver or the hammer setting on a hammer drill; doing so will void the warranty
  • 5-Year Warranty – Made in the USA and backed by real support

Includes: Multi-Mount Dual Speed Gearbox, standard bracket, snap pin, and 1/2″ socket drill adapter.

Understanding Jack Ratings vs. Lift Capacity

Trailer jacks carry two separate ratings: a support rating — how much weight the jack holds once set — and a lift rating, how much it can actually raise. A 4″ square jack advertised as 12K, 15K, 20K, or 25K is quoting its support rating. Its lift rating is a lower number.

Your gearbox has its own lift rating too, and whichever is lower becomes your real working limit. This Dual Speed model fits any standard 4″ square jack and lifts up to 8,000 lb. of tongue weight.

Two Speeds, Simple To Use

The gearbox is marked LIGHT LOAD and HEAVY LOAD. The simplest way to think about it:

  • LIGHT LOAD (3:1 high speed) — running the landing gear down to the ground, and back up to fully retracted. Travel only, no lifting.
  • HEAVY LOAD (11:1 low speed) — all actual lifting of trailer weight, whether the trailer is empty or loaded.

High speed covers the distance. Low speed does the work.

Choosing Between Models

  • Lifting empty or light? Either Multi-Mount Trailer Gearbox handles it. Both are rated 8,000 lb. at 11:1. The Dual Speed adds the 3:1 travel mode for faster setup and retraction.
  • Lifting loaded and heavy? Step up to the SuperMax — 14:1 reduction, 10,000 lb. capacity. The higher reduction means less strain on your drill and on you under real load.
