My friend and driver always bragged on how great Brechbill Trailer Sales was, how great the prices, personal customer service was. I run a fleet of Hotshot Trucks and Gooseneck Trailers, and I am the creator and admin of Hotshot-USA Resource network, www.Hotshot-USA.com. I manage a large network for our industry. Recently I was in a bind. I had converted my elec Drum Brakes to Elec over Hydraulic disk. After a couple years I needed rotors, pads, and they were manufactured by DeeMax components. My trailer guys were unable and back ordered on parts, my trailer repair couldn't find them. I called and looked furiously for them . When I did finally find them, they were $300 more than Brechbill. I remembered that my driver had mentioned that I give them a call. I did, talked to Justin and others there, Great service, They found, quoted and overnighted my parts straight to my shop. I was so impressed with them that I am adding them to my Hotshot Connections and told my friends in the business to contact them for all their parts. When I find a business like this that can help my trailers and my members, I get excited. I look forward to a long relationship with them. I honestly believe that you can not find a better source for all your trailer needs. Don't get jacked by high mark ups on parts. Just because we are in need, no need to take advantage of us, Buy with confidence. 100% REAL TALK!

Just a heads up, if you’re looking at this year’s Ram trucks, the kit isn’t exactly as pictured. It doesn’t come with rails, just a rectangular bit that’s meant to be bolted onto your existing mount, right over the rear axle. Take a look at some install videos on YouTube or Etrailer to see what I’m on about.
I managed to fit mine without needing any extra help or even having to take off my muffler. Still, it wouldn’t hurt to take off the spare tire during installation, especially if you’re doing it on the ground.
The product’s pretty solid – high quality stuff. My only nitpick is that B&W skimped out and didn’t include all the retaining springs for the U-bolts. That said, they were spot on with their customer service. One quick call and they had the part sent to me overnight. Plus, the call was refreshingly short, I was speaking to a real person in no time. Absolutely top-notch service, total 10 out of 10.
A piece of advice if you’re installing: Have sharp bits, enough cutting fluid, and pre-drill before you get onto the larger holes. This is important – USE CUTTING FLUID! If you haven’t any, WD40 would do the trick. It’ll be easier on your bits and your muscle. Having a can of black, rust-inhibiting spray paint is good too so you can cover any bare metal after drilling.

It’s been nearly 3 years since I got this and I haven’t had a single problem. I even used B&W’s 5th wheel attachment to haul a couple of 5th wheels. When a friend bought a goose neck from another brand, I was there to help him install it – needless to say, it wasn’t as easy, and the paint was chipping and rusting already. I had him send it back and replace it with this kit. He was over the moon with the difference. Kinda wish I took pictures to show you guys.
Works like a charm on my air ride mega cab! You gotta follow the instructions though – wasn’t able to skip taking off the exhaust hanger, spare tire and heat shield. If you’re an electrician, heads up, our hydraulic punch won’t fit to make that bed hole, so go for a holesaw. Loving it so far, seems like a quality product.
easy installation
Works like a charm. Installing it was a breeze. I even managed to do it myself in under 2 hours.
This thing’s rock solid! The pin fits right through the ball. I feel much more confident hauling a heavy trailer now. It took me about two hours to install it. If you have someone to give you a hand, it’ll be a breeze.
