Product Description:

KODIAK 10″ Trailer Disc Brake Assy, DAC, Bearings & Seals incl., 1 Axle Kit, (2/H-10-DDD-K)

This is a great disc brake set manufactured by Kodiak. This is one of their 5 bolt 3,500lb capacity integral disc brake kits. This particular brake kit has Dacromet coated hubs, rotors, calipers and brackets. This is Kodiaks part # 2/HRCM-10-DAC. This kit is designed to fit on 3,500lb capacity axles using the standard 4 bolt brake flange. This is Kodiak’s Integral set which means the hub and rotor are cast together as one piece. This means that the hub and rotor are machined together which minimizes rotor runout and provides a smoother ride.

  • The hub is a 5 on 4 ½” bolt pattern
  • This trailer disc brake kit will fit with 13” or larger wheels
  • This kit includes:
    • (2) Dacromet coated 10” hub and vented rotors that are cast as one piece. The vented rotors help dissipate heat quickly
    • (2) Dacromet coated caliper mounting brackets
    • (2) Dacromet Coated Calipers – Loaded.  The calipers are Dacromet Coated except for the brass fittings where your brake lines run in. The brake pads are red steel backed.
    • (4) stainless steel caliper mounting bolts.

  1. RG

Slapped it right on there, snug as a bug.

  2. DC

I used this thing for my boat trailer.

  3. JG

Cool set with everything you need.

  4. SV

Got the box super fast, even though the corners were a bit smashed it was all good inside. Every single piece was in there. Man, the quality was top-notch and setting up was a breeze. I took the Kodiak brakes for a spin and they rocked it both on a test ride and on my 300 mile lake trip. Seriously, they’re solid gear. I’d say go for it if you’re thinking about ditching your old drum brakes for disc ones.

So far, everything is going smoothly. I ended up upgrading my boat trailer to the Kodiak, and putting it together was a breeze. I worked on it alone and it only took me about 4 hours. I double-checked every step. I just followed the instructions and didn’t run into any problems. The stopping power is even improving every time I use it. I would totally get it again.
